Treatment device maintenance
The Healthcare Equipment and Supplies Act (1505/94) obliges healthcare units – both public and private – and individual practitioners to ensure that healthcare devices are always in working order.
Registration of devices and their maintenance is mandatory. In this way, it is possible to trace the moment when, for example, the accuracy of the device was last checked. According to the law, the devices may only be installed, maintained and repaired by a person with the necessary skills and expertise. The user organizations of the devices must follow the maintenance and calibration instructions given by the manufacturer so that the performance of the device constantly remains within the limits specified by the manufacturer.

Diter Oy offers maintenance and calibration services for the products it manufactures.

Kauneudenhoitoalalla käytettävien Ditelle laitteiden huolto- ja kalibrointiväliksi suositellaan 1-2 vuotta käyttöasteen mukaan.
Instructions for sending devices for maintenance
Contact the manufacturer by phone or email before sending the device for maintenance.
Please ensure that your device is insured in case your device/product is broken or lost during delivery.
Diter Oy is not responsible for damages caused during shipment.
Pack the device carefully. Pack also the accessories. NOTE! Especially ultrasound treatment head(s), so that those can be calibrated at the same time.
Please send a document with the following information with the device:
- Sender's name
- Sender's shipping and invoicing address
- An explanation of what you want done to the device and whether you want, for example, a free repair estimate before starting the procedures.
- A short written fault report must be included for the devices sent for repair
- Information on when the device should be returned (important e.g. during holidays)
