Is it possible to cause damage for myself or my customer with a Ditelle device?

If a professional follows the treatment protocol explained during training and the customer does not have any obstacles for treatment, it is not possible to cause damage.

Are Ditelle RF treatments suitable for beauty treatments?

Yes, they are. Ditelle devices with RF functionality are electrotherapy devices. This means that the tissue is warmed by electric current and not by radiation.

Why there are different colors for patient cables and what do the signify?

Patient cables have two channels. Red or grey cables have 1 channel and black cables 2 channelsChannels and colors tell you which control knob to use to adjust treatment intensity in the beginning and during the treatment.
Note that connector color tells the polarity.

Why patient cable connectors have different colors and what do those signify?

Patient cable connector colors, red and black tell their polarity. Black connectors are negative (-) poles and red connectors positive (+) poles..

What is the safety class for DitLaser?

Technical questions:

What are the most common malfunctions of TENStem Eco Basic?

1. Power drops to zero when 10mA current is exceeded
There is a break in a patient cable or the skin contact with an electrode is not good enough. You can try to locate the fault by testing different cables and electrode contact. Please note that it is possible that both cables are damaged.

2. There is no power in the device.
- Please check the batteries.
- Check that battery holster is closed. If the holster cover is not properly attached or it is broken, the device does not operate properly.

3. Batteries do not stay in their place.
- Check the batteries
- Make sure the negative pole's metal clip in the battery holster is intact. If it is intact and bent against the wall, you can bend it CAREFULLY outward. This will help to hold the battery better in place.

What does electrolysis mean?

When two electrodes are placed in a mild salt solution (the same happens when two electrodes are attached to the human body during electrotherapy) and connected to a direct current source, the electrode connects to the positive pole of the anode and the negative pole of the cathode due to the movement of electrons.

The difference in the number of electrons between the electrodes is then the cause of the voltage in the electrolyte. Because the voltage tends to reach equilibrium and charge carriers of the same polarity repel each other and those of different polarity attract each other, the ions begin to move.

Positive anode repels the positive sodium ions that move towards the negative cathode, which attracts them. Because they are moving towards the cathode they are called cations. Cations are positively charged.

Negative cathode repels the negative chloride ions that move towards the positive anode, which attracts them. Because they are moving towards the anode, they are called anions. Anions are negatively charged.

When the ions have reached their destination i.e. the anode or the cathode, chemical reactions will occur. These reactions caused by the direct current are collectively called as electrolysis.

What should I do if the polarity of the product is differs from the requirements of the physiological effects?

Try to find a product that matches the type of treatment and the polarity of the treatment head. If you do not have such a product, change the polarity of the treatment head to match the polarity of the product you are using. There is no harm in this, but during the treatment, the electrolysis phenomenon corresponding to the treatment response does not occur. For example, treatment of Couperosa skin and negative couperosa serum.

What do electroporation and bipolarity mean?

Electroporation treatment is bipolar, which means that the polarity (+/-) of the product or electric current does not matter. The treatment works at the cellular level. The pulse waves used in the treatment momentarily open microchannels in the cell membrane, so the active substances can pass through the stratum corneum of the skin without the need to pierce the skin (transcellular absorption).

Microchannels are short-lived and close soon after absorption of compounds. In the treatment, you should use products containing as low molecular weight raw materials as possible.

Can STIM HIG VOLTAGE treatment be used for absorbtion?

HIGH VOLTAGE treatment is not an absorption treatment. The main focus of the treatment is frequency variation and electrolysis (+ and - polarity effects). This treatment lowers the resistance of the skin, so the product is absorbed into the skin better than without device treatment. HIGH VOLTAGE is used, for example, in the removal of puffiness in the eye area and in acne / couperosa treatments.

What should I do if 2-ball electrode seems to stutter during treatment?

1. Check that both balls are firmly against the skin and that there is enough medium. If the contact of the second ball is bad, the contraction may be stronger than normal, because the device aims to maintain constant current. This means that the device starts increasing the voltage when the current is not flowing properly. When the current is allowed to flow again, the contraction is strong.

2. Check that the connector of the 2-ball electrode is properly attached to the electrical current connector of the device (gray collar).

3. If the above-mentioned issues do not correct the so-called stuttering, there may be a break in the electrode wire, which may not be visible to the outside. In this case, the device and treatment head should be sent for maintenance.

Treatment questions:

Which TENStem Eco Basic program is recommended for relieving birth pain?

Program number 7, page 11 of the user manual. The electrodes should be placed on the lower back on both sides of the lumbar spine, see page 16. We recommend adhesive electrodes from our selection in size 45×98 mm.

How many different cosmetology treatments can be done in one treatment session?

Different forms of treatment can be combined during one treatment session. E.g. combination: Lifting treatment + US/electroporation + eye area treatment is possible. However, you have to remember that too much is always too much, so everything has its limits.
At the beginning of all treatments, we recommend ultrasound opening to the lymph nodes closest to the treatment area.

How long can you keep the treatment intervals and still get an effective serial treatment?

It depends on the type of treatment and the number of sessions, but generally around 1-2 weeks.

How many times can you do a serial treatment?

Since the treatments are supportive of physiological effects, there is no specific maximum number for the treatments when done correctly.

What are the best mediums for Ditelle absorption treatments?

For all absorption treatments, we recommend water-based products compared to e.g. oil-based ones.

When is radiofrequency better than ultrasound + microcurrent?

Radiofrequency is usually chosen when you want to combine firming and pampering treatment.
RF is also more pleasant for electrically sensitive customers. If the customer has very red and sensitive skin, US+microcurrent may be a better treatment option.
When choosing a treatment, you must always evaluate each client and their needs on an individual basis.

When does radiofrequency treatment not produce the desired result for the client?

RF treatment is well suited, for example, for firming of sun-damaged and chronologically aged skin.
However, the treatment does not work on sugar-damaged skin, because the sugar-damaged collagen fiber does not react to heat.

Sugar-damaged skin briefly:
In the body, glucose reacts with proteins. This is called glycation. When a person becomes "sugary", the collagen stiffens and, at the same time, it is even more difficult for the skin to regenerate and repair itself. Sugar also slows down collagen regeneration. Unfortunately, sugaring happens all the time to some extent, even if you avoid pure sugar and e.g. change bread, pasta and rice to whole grain alternatives and vegetables. It is a natural part of human metabolism. Glycation of collagen is part of aging.

What is the difference between ultrasonic cleaning and absorption?

The six crystals in the treatment spatula used with the ultrasonic cleaning device cause a mechanical vibration that travels along the spatula. The vibration is formed because the crystals are arranged interlaced on both sides of the spatula blade that is inside the case. The oscillation occurs at a frequency of 26-28 kHz, which causes several oscillations per second. In this way you can improve, e.g. tallow soaping of the skin, when the spatula is used like a comedo iron in cleaning. During the treatment, the treatment head should be gently slid over the skin, and it should not be kept on for long periods of time without skin contact, so that the crystals do not become too hot.

In some ultrasonic cleaning devices, the treatment response can be enhanced with the iontophoresis function (+/-) by utilizing the electrolysis phenomenon caused by the galvanic current in the skin tissue. To implement this, a closed circuit is required, where a neutral electrode is attached to the customer.

In absorption treatment, the ultrasound of the ultrasonic cleaning device does not cause so-called pressure wave phenomenon, such as e.g. in 3-frequency ultrasound treatment because the vibration is horizontal and not parallel to the tissue.
Horizontal vibration occurs either continuously or pulsating.

After needle-free mesotherapy, is it necessary to perform a cold treatment (close the microchannels)?

There is no need because the microchannels have closed themselves as soon as the treatment head moves to the next point/the treatment ends.

Do skin hairs harm ultrasound or cavitation treatments?

No they do not. Depending on the amount of skin hair, the treatment head might not slide so smoothly, but this can usually be helped by adding more medium.

Is the coil a contraindication for stimulation current, ultrasound, ultrasound/tns, ultrasound/if treatments in the abdominal area?

A hormonal IUD/contraceptive IUD is not an absolute contraindication, but it is good to know if the client has one. In this case, the area of the uterus should be avoided and focus the treatment of the middle body a little higher in the abdominal area.
If the customer has a so-called fallopian tube clips, and they are metal, there is an absolute contraindication and treatment should not be focused to that area.

Can device therapy be done on the face if the client has an active herpes blister?

Device treatments are not recommended when the client has an active herpes blister. Treatment is not recommended because then there is a risk of spreading. Treatments can be continued normally when the herpes blister has healed.

Can eye treatments be performed on a person with cataract?

Device treatments do not affect the human eye, so a cataract or a similar eye condition is not an obstacle to the treatments.

Can device treatments be done on a person who has MS?

Device treatments do not activate the disease in question or worsen the symptoms. At best they do the opposite. Therefore, it is not a contraindication for device treatments.

Can any device treatments be safely given to a client who has a pacemaker or is pregnant?

Yes. Soft-Laser treatment and diamond peeling can be done for a client with a pacemaker. It is also safe to give a diamond peel to the face during pregnancy.

When can you start scar treatments with the device?

As soon as possible. For example, Soft-Laser treatment can be given on top of wound tapes, and stitches or self-melting sutures are not an obstacle for starting a treatment.
