What is IPL?
Light impulse therapy, i.e. IPL works on the same principle as a laser, i.e. in it, light energy turns into heat and is absorbed into color molecules of a certain color, such as e.g. melanin.
Light pulse therapy differs from laser in that the filter in the device filters out waves longer than the desired light, but all shorter waves remain, i.e. it contains several wavelengths (or colors) of light in each pulse, while the laser has only one wavelength.
Light impulse therapy uses high-power pulses of visible light to treat skin problems and permanently reduce and remove skin hair.
